From Team BGM’s US Airways, Delta and United employees:

CHECK IN EARLY. No less than 1 hour before your departure. Early morning flights should plan on 1 ½ hour before your flight. ALL ticket counters will shut down 30 minutes before the flight.

Have your photo ID and Confirmation #’s out and ready to give to the agent when you get to the counter

50 lb. weight limit per bag. All airlines will charge $25 for 1st bag and $35 for your 2nd bag.  Use only TSA approved locks on your luggage.

Every bag needs a name tag on the outside AND on the inside.  Use a luggage strap or tie a colored ribbon onto your bag to help identify it at the baggage belt.  HOLD ON to your baggage claim tickets when you check in this will help find a lost bag!
